I woke to the sound of stillness,
The pull of dawn drawing me from sweet sleep,
The kiss of ice cold breeze against my cheek,
And a yearning to see the excitement, the sorrows that
This new day,
This new hour,
This new minute,
This new second,
Promises to deliver.
I do not know,
I’m none too sure.
But I will embrace whatever is thrown my way,
All the same.
For what is life without it’s ups and downs.
What is the fun in Karma not giving us,
the what goes around comes around.
If I’ll be allowed to say.
So I will embrace whatever is thrown my way.
