There is a disease plaguing our society, that being the usage of offensive language both publicly and privately. This is a disease that has and continues to destroy the minds of everyone that contracts it. We’ve heard it in movies, on the streets, business places, schools, churches. Almost everywhere.
It has become The NEW-Normal!
It is contagious; it respects no one –neither age nor class, it spreads from person to person. It is dangerous it has corrupted the mind of our people, so much so that our everyday lives are filled with its usage, during normal conversations, arguments etc. It is used frequently in the faces of our kids without any remorse, yet still we wonder why our kids are so rebellious.
Gone are the days when these foul languages were only used by persons who were never properly educated.
So – Called Gangsters etc.
Now parents are using such to their kids,
Mothers to daughters,
Fathers to sons,
Principals to teachers and students,
Business Owners to workers,
What is wrong with our society today?
Are these people not to be role models?
Where is the respect?
What ever happened to Standards & Principles?
Have we forgotten what they are?
Let me remind you!
Standards those morals, ethics, habits, etc., established by authority, custom, or an individual as acceptable:
Principles -guiding sense of the requirements and obligations of right conduct:
The use of such language doesn’t make you “Kool”.
You’re just taking a stand with a bunch of “idiots” for the wrong thing.
I know I’ve been there before.
Let’s make a change.
Let us speak positively.
The dictionary is filled with words that we can learn to expand our vocabulary,
Because I believe there are numerous ways to offend someone without the use of explicit, invective obscenity; the use of such just expresses one’s lack of vocabulary.
